SynAnno is a tool for proofreading and correcting synaptic polarity annotations from
electron microscopy (EM) volumes, specifically the H01 dataset. On this landing page,
you can choose between two workflows: "Revise Dataset" and "Proofread Annotation."
"Revise Dataset" allows you to redraw segmentation masks, assign pre-/post-synaptic IDs,
and add missed false negatives. "Proofread Annotation" lets you review existing segmentations,
verify pre-/post-synaptic IDs, mark incorrect instances, and assign error descriptions.
After categorizing all erroneous instances in "Proofread Annotation," you can automatically
proceed to "Revise Dataset."
Each page has a navigation bar at the top with three icons:

About
This tool is designed to help evaluate the annotation of synaptic clefts, correct annotations, and segment false positives. The annotations consist of two side-by-side lines (pink and turquoise) marking the synaptic cleft and polarity. They are categorized as: correct (green), incorrect (red), and uncertain (white).
